On October 25th the COSMOB Laboratory Test was officially recognized as Third-Party Certifier (TPC) by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as an Italian reference laboratory for testing and certification services required by the regulation TSCA Title VI (effective from October 2th5, 2017) for the verification of formaldehyde emissions from panels and furniture sold, manufactured and imported in the United States.
This is the extension to the entire US territory of the californian standards issued by CARB (California Air Resources Board) and which involves all Italian and European producers who intend to export to US territory.
